Back-to-school in September??
As we all know that parenting is a huge challenge during this pandemic, but now it is the end of summer and kids are returning to school in September.
The good news is that more and more people are getting vaccinated in Ontario. Businesses and public places are slowly getting open (with limited capacities) BUT still looks like its not over yet. As we are fighting against new variants now and this is the time, we need to take care more than ever before.
There was an interesting article published in May 2021 on “The psychology of post-pandemic life” by Taylor, a professor and clinical psychologist in the psychiatry department at UBC. Most of the School Boards in Ontario, offering for physically attending the school or keep continuing virtual learning or kids may also select combination of both, depending on the school boards you are with.
As always, there are pros and cons with every decision and back to school also has the same challenges. You must take decision according to your situation, requirement & circumstances.
An article on Back-to-School, was published by CHEO.ON.CA. It has general information, advise and helpful tips for parents and children going back-to-school. Click on the link to read full articles https://www.cheo.on.ca/en/resources-and-support/resources/P6225E.pdf
Please note that this information are for educational purposes only. If you have any questions, ask your health-care provider. Sending or not to send back to school physically attending is all about our own decision. School boards had offered all possible options to choose for back to school in September. Take your own decision which greatly fit with your requirements and circumstances.
Please take your decision wisely.
Happy Back to School!
