Early Childhood STEM Program Instructor
(Part-Time / Seasonal/ Contract )
We are seeking an engaging and dependable Early Childhood STEM Instructor to deliver hands-on, inquiry-based science programs at licensed childcare centers, Montessori and schools across GTA.
Our programs support curiosity, exploration, and age-appropriate scientific discovery while complementing early learning frameworks and play-based curriculum to promote science learning at early age.
Position Details:
Employment Type: Part-Time, Contract, Seasonal
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Mostly in the morning availability required)
Compensation: $20–$22 per hour (based on experience) plus hourly paid travel time between program locations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured, interactive STEM programs to groups of 20–25 children
- Facilitate developmentally appropriate, hands-on science activities for early age 1 to 6 yrs
- Encourage hands on, inquiry-based learning aligned early years learning frameworks
- Maintain positive classroom management in collaboration with center staff
- Travel independently to multiple childcare and Montessori locations.
- Organize materials and ensure smooth program setup and cleanup
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working in licensed childcare centers, Montessori settings, science camps, home school or early years learning programs.
- Confident presenting to groups of young children (ages 1–6)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage morning schedules efficiently
- Basic knowledge of science concepts appropriate for early learners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel within assigned service areas
Preferred Assets
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or currently enrolled
- Registered ECE (RECE) status in Ontario (asset)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Experience delivering STEM or enrichment programs

Science Show Performer:
We are looking for an entertainer who combines theatrical presentation with scientific demonstrations to educate and engage an audience with fun and learn.
Are you passionate enjoying working with large audience ?
Are you comfortable working with science experiment ?
Do you have basic knowledge of science and its notions?
Are you available for weekdays, weekend in holidays seasons ?
If you have YES with above questions, we have opening for you for this holiday seasons.
REQUIREMENT & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Must be available for few days in week and and all weekend and holiday hours.
* Willing to travel different areas within GTA and surrounding for program.
* Having experience and ability to perform lead and instruct large group of children in person.
* Ability to maintains positive, energetic, enthusiastic possible attitude and add fun while performing activities in a professional and positive manner.
* Must be able to provide current criminal background, vulnerable sector check. (We will cover the cost (some conditions applies))
* Must be residing within 10 kms from our Streestville location & have access to a reliable car.
Previous theatrical presentation experience will be consider an asset. ECE, CPR, First Aid, High 5 training NOT required but would be an assets
